The Reuben is amazing!
Loved the granola French toast and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Waitress was very nice but didn't really check on us.
MoreGreat atmosphere with quality service. Good food with a really unique setting. Will eat here again.
MoreGreat place to meet you girl's
Awesome food. Charming environment. Great service
Great breakfast this morning. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Going back soon.
MoreI love this place. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the last time I went there the service wasn’t quite as nice. It took forever for our waitress to come over to take our order, and she was rude as soon as she came up to the table. It was also a very long time before we even got our food. I almost wasn’t hungry by the end of it. She acted like she didn’t really care and that she hated her job. Which I understand but it is still customer service and you can’t treat customers badly because you don’t want to be there. She mixed up my boyfriends order, and forgot his syrup and he had to go ask the other woman on duty. She wasn’t pleasant with particular other groups either. She seemed to pick and choose who she was kind to. We still left her a generous tip and wished her a Merry Christmas. I’m hoping the next time we go it will be more enjoyable.
MoreHometown breakfast and lunch in a grand, old home. Superior breakfast food, personal service. Jillian was the tops in service. Stop in and enjoy!
MoreThe tomato bisque is some of the best I've ever had. The rest of the entrees were good...but nothing to write home about. The waitress I had was "sick" that day, and while she served the food, was having a personal conversation on her cell phone. She was friendly, but I felt that was very unprofessional!
Morea lovely find! great breakfast on a front porch for a reasonable price.
Great ambiance, a former house, downstairs converted to a restaurant. Salad was great. Tomato bisque soup was spectacular!
MoreWhenever my husband and I are driving through Coldwater, we have to stop at Stoagie’s for breakfast. I love the atmosphere - it’s so cool that it’s inside an old house. Coffee is great, staff is friendly, and our food has always been good. One time it was super busy so we had to wait a while for our food to come out, but it was worth the wait. We love the breakfast potatoes, and I like the veggie breakfast sandwich. Hope this gem of a cafe stays around forever!
MoreAlways the right atmosphere, amazing soups and Breakfast anytime of day!
Great food and staff
Seen a mouse come from the kitchen, my fork was crusty, food was mediocre, I will not be eating there again!
MoreFood was ok. Service was lacking.
Beautiful place with outstanding food and service.
Good food, good decor and an excellent staff. Highly recommended for small business meetings or real nice family breakfast or lunch. Wi-Fi available.
MoreExcellent food and great service. Waitress was very polite. Overall great experience and highly recommend trying this place out. They even have a local squirrel named pumpkin who will stop in and ask you for a kickdown. The inside of the restaurant is decorated very warm and inviting. Great atmosphere.
MoreThe staff was nice and the house itself is a history figure, but that's all there is good about the place. The food was lacking severely in taste and the menu was short enough it could have fit on one paper. Not to mention the price. If you are rich and have money to spend on cardboard pancakes with sugar water syrup, then sure, but for someone who was taking their mother out as a treat, the prices to quality ratios were a bit steep.
MorePerfect little breakfast place.very friendly staff.
I've been here with a group of 10 and myself and my high chair using son. Never disappoints. Food is great and price is good. Very home like food atmosphere. Eat here!!!
MoreI want to give this 5 stars. I bet lunch and dinner are equally delicious but I had breakfast. There is something fabulous to be said about simple from scratch food. Very clean flavors. Small menu but that is not a negative. No pancakes, but French toast and waffles. Here's the key... the waffle tasted like home but it was cleanly balanced. I could taste that hint of bitter baking powder which was reassuring I was getting fresh and scratch. The syrup was scratch and on the edge of watery but full flavor. Had the potatoes and omelette too. Yum. It is a house converted to a restaurant cute. Very hometown friendly service. Never had sausage links that tasted like this or had this great texture.
MoreAmazing as always
Great food and love the atmosphere
The food can be very good. There is one waitress that makes you feel like she's yelling at everyone in the room. Some signature dishes like granola French toast and tomato bisque.
MoreLove the atmosphere at Stoagies! The food is delicious as well! My favorite is the biscuit and gravy bowl. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite anytime you get a chance.
MoreJillian is very attentive to our needs.
Warm cozy place to enjoy the season. Had their pumpkin waffle and it was spectacular! You have got to try it with crumbled bacon on top!! Limited time available, I am told.
MoreExpensive. Cute place. Just a personal pet peeve for me was the waitress talked so loud she gave me a headache and I didn't finish my meal cause I just wanted to get out of there.
MoreAwesome place with good food. The waitress we had was super-attentive and kind. The food tasted really good and was hot upon arrival. The coolest thing was the squirrel that lives nearby....named pun-kin [pumpkin] who will literally come to the window and ask for grey poupon! This is the coolest squirrel ever! The building had a warm atmosphere that is really welcoming. I cant wait to go back!
MoreGreat food and service!! Nice atmosphere as well.
We stopped by later on a Sunday morning and have excellent waffles. Friendly service in an old home. We would visit again.
MoreFriendly service and good food
Charming “cafe” that’s really more like a restaurant set in a charming 1800’ss home. Excellent service, delicious food (especially the super fluffy omelettes). Definitely worth a visit!
MoreNew to the area but appears to be a locals type spot. Friendly staff and a good food menu for a bar. Food was lightning quick. Cheap drinks, food average price. Would.go again!
MoreBreakfast was good, the seasoned potatoes did not live up to the name. Great staff
MoreThe food was good and a felt like the price point was good. Service was a little forgetful throughout our breakfast and slow.
MoreGood food nice atmosphere
Very friendly service and excellent food. I normally get breakfast when I go there. Never have tried the lunch, but the omelettes are very good and the coffee is better than most places.
MoreFriendly service and excellent food.
It's a nice quiet place with good food.
Love the food and great service. We have never had a bad meal or less than excellent service
MoreCharming atmosphere and excellent food
Today was our first time going to Stoagies for breakfast. My husband and I have driven past many times and they are always busy. So we picked my mom up this morning and went. We were welcomed by Brittany who was very warm and welcoming. I told her it was our first time and she explained the menu. She pointed out they don't have pancakes, but have waffles and granola crusted french toast. We all decided to have omelets. They were very fluffy and the perfect size. I had the ham and cheese, my husband had the farmers omelet and my mom had the turkey omelet. We were all very pleased. We all had the fruit cup and toast. Brittany did a fabulous job. The restaurant is very clean and cozy We will be going back!
MoreGreat food , great service
Amazing! Love the atmosphere, cool, beautiful, old eclectic house setting. Great made from scratch food (Try the homemade sausage patties), and super friendly service. And it's locally owned!
MoreIt was really good as usual. We are breakfast out on the front porch!
Expensive, mediocre service, and chincy menu selection trying to strive off of being situated in an old home.Have to constantly ask for coffee refills. The food is not that good and you don't get enough of it.I pass this place for Coldwater Gardens.
MoreAmazing food, staff, and building. Great menu and so cozy.
